walaupun itu dapat mencabut nyawaku…

sadarkah engkau sang mentari pagi?
aku hanyalah setetes embun…
yang berjuang untuk ada saat kau muncul…
yang berusaha menangkap hangatmu,
bahkan bila itu melenyapkanku…

mengertikah engkau rembulan malam?
aku hanyalah sejumput rumput malam…
yang mengagumi redupnya cahayamu…
yang menanti tuk bertemu muka denganmu,
meskipun hanya untuk satu malam…

yakinkah engkau, oh, belahan hati?
aku hanyalah seorang biasa…
yang menunggu untuk dapat memelukmu…
yang terus mencoba mengikat bahagia…
yang hanya kudapatkan darimu…
